Then people stood against the Prophets and refused to accept them saying."Has God sent a man like us to be His Apostles?" It was reasoned out with them in these words:"Say, 'If there were settled on earth, angels walking about in peace and quiet, We should certainly have sent them down from the heavens an angel for an apostle'."


  This clearly explains that the Institution of Divine Guidance has a physical aspect connected to it which, presently, is Imam's physical existence. It is therefore that our Holy Prophet Muhammad said: "If the world were to remain without an Imam for one moment, the whole world with  everything in it would perish instantaneously."


  If the physical existence of the Imam were to be removed at any time from this earth, it would only be right to conclude that it could only be as a result of God's decision to withdraw His plan of guiding mankind to His Noor. The prime purpose of His creation ended, everything would naturally transform into a state of non-existence. Without the physical existence of the Imam in this world, this is how everything would perish and cease to exist.
