Mowlana Murtaza Ali says in his Kalam:

"The Prophet of God experienced Mi'raj because he spent his nights in the remembrance of Allah; Mumins too can achieve Mi'rajMicra; if they remove the impurities of the world from within their hearts."

Mowla Ali adds:

"The Messenger of Allah gained Mi'raj during the night. It was the meeting between the lover and the Beloved.

If you are a true lover of Allah then never miss your Bandagi."
And the Holy Quran says:"And in the part of the night forsake sleep for prayers. Perhaps your Lord will raise you to a station of praise and Glory."
It is a call to all believers to awake from the slumber of daily life. It is a reminder that human life has some great purpose to fulfil.Since Prophet Muhammad (s.a.s.) is a guide and example to be followed, his spiritual attainment is to be our aim. By following 'Sirat-al Mustaqim', in the light of the Holy Guidance of Imam-e Zaman, we can traverse the various spiritual junctions and attain the Ma'rifat of Imam-e Zaman which is the Ma'rifat of Allah.

Sleep brings darkness but wakefulness in the remembrance of Allah opens the door to Nur-i Ilahi. It is for us to choose, either the life of ignorance and death or the life of light and eternal life in Allah, Who is above all else.
