We say 'JAMAT KE HAI-ZINDA' as we enter the
Jamatkhana.
'HAI-ZINDA' means 'HAZAR IMAM IS EVER PRESENT'.
The reply to 'HAI-ZINDA' is 'QAYAM PAYA'.
'QAYAM PAYA' means 'WE HAVE HAZAR IMAM WITH US FOR EVER'.
As we say 'Jamat ke Hai-Zinda' and enter the Jamatkhana, we must remember that the Noor of Hazar Imam is ever present there and we must therefore attend to our Du'a and all other religious ceremonies with love, respect and devotion. We must also behave like good spiritual children of Mowlana Hazar Imam.
We also say 'Hai Zinda - Qayam Paya' after the end of our Shahada (Kalimah) in Tasbih. We say 'Hai Zinda' when we take Sukreet.
'HAI-ZINDA - QAYAM PAYA' reminds us that Hazar Imam is present and living, and he is always with us.
Our Holy Du'a is short but it is full of meaning. Mowlana Hazar Imam also wants us to know the meaning of our Du'a.
He says: "I would like you to learn Du'a and its meaning".
Mowlana Hazar Imam loves us and cares for us a great deal. To make him happy we must always say our Du'a regularly.
