The glorious transformation of nature at the time of Navroz (spring season) reminds us of the creative power of Allah and of the bounties He continually showers upon us.

The sprouting seedlings, blossoming buds, vibrant colors and rushing waters, which we associate with spring, remind us of our true inner essence which has the power to bloom and grow under the loving care and warmth of Imam-e-Zaman.

Born as Ismailis, having the recognition of Imam-e-Zaman, this life is the spring season of our soul. The Divine Noor shines brightly over our souls and all that we have to do is to remove the weeds of evil and cultivate an original, spontaneous and permanent relationship with It, so that every breath and activity of our life becomes the worship of the Merciful. The festival of Navroz should effect a spiritual rebirth in each one of us and inspire greater love for our Imam
.

Navroz is an auspicious time to initiate self-improvement, because nature, so to speak,is turning a new page in the book of life. It is a time to review our lives and determine what improvements are necessary. In a detached, objective way we should analyze our traits, both positive and negative, and then resolve to change wrong habits into good ones.

Our covenant with Imam-e-Zaman is a promise we have given to him to endeavor to achieve the Supreme Goal. When choosing our resolution, one idea should always loom before the rest and that is to ask ourselves: "What do we want from life? To this question, there should be only one answer: "To make Imam-e-Zaman the sum and substance of all our aims and goals, and earn his divine pleasure."
