Allah is the Creator of all that is in the heavens and on the earth. He is Kind and Merciful. He has given us all that we need to keep ourselves alive. He has given us water to drink and wash, air to breathe, food, vegetables and meat to eat. He has provided us with everything and so we must thank and remember Him daily. We can thank and remember Allah by saying our DU'A (prayers) daily and regularly.

We Ismailis are prescribed three prayers daily. They are:
  1. SUBHU-JI DU'A - Early morning prayer
  2. SANJI-JI DU'A - Evening prayer
  3. SOMNI-JI DU'A - Late evening prayer.

Allah says in the Holy Qur' an in Ayat 114 of Sura ll:
"And establish prayers at the two ends of the day and in some
watches of the night. Good deeds remove evil deeds. This is a
Reminder for the mindful".Prayers to be said at the two ends of the day are early morning  (Subhu-ji) and evening (Sanji-ji) Du'a.
Prayer to be said in some watches of the night is the late evening
(Somni-ji) Du'a. It is important that we say our Du'a at the appointed time.
