Mowlana Shah Karim al-Husayn) Hazar Imam is our 49th Imam.He came to the Throne of Imamat on 11th July, 1957.He was then 21 years old.Every year we celebrate 11th July as the Imamat Day.We celebrate this day with great rejoicing.We have Khushiyali in Jamatkhana. We offer prayers of thanksgiving because we have the holy guidance of Imam-e-Zaman.We wish each other 'IMAMAT DAY MUBARAK'. It is a very happy occasion and so we also play Dandiya Raas and have other programmes.

Imamat Day reminds us of some very important things.

1. There is always a Present and Living Imam in this world.
2. We Ismailis are always under the loving care of Present and Living Imam.

3. Mowlana Hazar Imam guides us from time to time by giving us his Farmans.

4. As Mowlana Hazar Imam's spiritual children we must obey and follow his Farmans.

5. We must be ever thankful and pray to remain on Siratal-Mustaqim under the care and guidance of Mowlana Hazar Imam.

In the year 1982 our beloved Mowla will complete 25 years of his glorious Imamat. Ismailis all over the world celebrated the Silver Jubilee of Mowlana Hazar Imam's Imamat in 1982 - 1983 with great rejoicing. This was a very great and glorious event.
